Four weekends - SEVEN Retreats. Campers in both retreats will enjoy games, songs, crafts and other camp activities. The two groups will come together for Saturday campfire and Sunday worship. Lutheridge counselors provide leadership and stay with campers and help confirmation “get real and come alive for teens.” Cost per camper includes lodging, meals & snacks, counselor supervision and other program costs.

SEPTEMBER 23-25, 2011 (Friday-Sunday)
- LORD'S PRAYER staying in Whisnant Village: Middle School youth will pray each part of the Lord's Prayer in ways that engage both brain and heart.
- APOSTLES CREED staying in Lakeside Village: Older youth learn the importance of saying "I believe" and meet each person of the Trinity in new ways.

NOVEMBER 11-13, 2011 (Friday-Sunday)
- New Testament Overview (Old Testament will be taught in 2012) staying in Whisnant Village.
Youth will discover how the New Testament came to be, experience the main stories of Jesus' life and explore how Lutherans understand the NT as the Word of God.
Grades 5-10 (campers will be placed in cabin groups by age so older/younger youth will be together)

FEBRUARY 3-5, 2012 (Friday-Sunday)
- HOLY BAPTISM staying in Whisnant Village: This retreat teaches the centrality of sacrament in Lutheran worship. Youth will experience baptism as the sacrament of belonging. We are God's forever!
- HOLY COMMUNION staying in Lakeside Village: The sacrament of Communion takes on deeper meaning as the meal of forgiveness, nourishment, and community, central to Lutheran worship.

Luther's life and reformation principles inspire youth to continue the reforming tradition by asking questions and keeping faith alive today!

ADULT LEADERS are welcome to register and participate in ALL program sessions. Cost for an adult who is a FULL participant (must select a retreat) is $75 per adult. Limited adult housing is available on weekends so register early! Adults may also register as a full participant and stay off-site for $25 per adult.
Adult who drop off campers and wish to stay on camp, but not participate in the Faith Alive! weekends may arrange housing and meals, if available, at regular rates by contacting our offices.

Summer 2011: Values and Vocation
Faith Alive! combines learning about the faith of our Lutheran tradition with the fun and creativity of camp. Faith Alive! is for confirmation classes, middle school youth groups, as well as individual campers.
Campers will explore the decisions they make in day to day living from the perspective of Christian witness. This will lead to exercises allowing discovery of their special gifts and the framework for discernment of vocation. Learning will be through games, crafts, Bible study, discussion, worship, skits, songs, and other creative activities. Youth will be actively engaged in the material. the deposit to lock in your rate.
Adult Leaders are encouraged to join their youth for the week of camp. Participate in the sessions and camp activities. Form lasting relationships with youth as well as time for fellowship with other youth leaders. Continuing education will be offered for both lay and clergy leaders, giving specifics for helping youth form strong Christian values and make full use of their gifts in both the church and the community. Camper Health History Form and Waiver
The health form for the Faith Alive! retreats is available online. The form is 3 pages (health information and a waiver). Please make sure that all youth participants bring a completed form with them to turn in upon check-in for the program.
We will be unable to check-in campers without this completed form. For adult participants, we only need a signed waiver.
We are unable to pull health forms from past programs.
