New Summer Staff Applicants

Dear Friend in Christ,

We are very pleased about your interest in being a part of the 2011 Lutheridge+ Lutherock Ministries summer staff. Gathering a summer staff is always an exciting and challenging endeavor. On this web-site, you will find everything needed to help you decide if you wish to be considered for a summer staff position and the paperwork to proceed with that desire, including:

  Summer Applicant Information   Download
  Summer Staff Application   Download
  Staff Recruitment/Orientation Calendar   Download
  Reference Form   Download
  Personnel Policies   Download

NEW for 2011: The application and reference form are fillable forms. You will need to fill the application, save it to your computer, and email it to your site of interest: Van at Lutherock or Kara at Lutheridge.

Please review the staff applicant information. It covers many subjects pertaining to summer staff including a description of these available positions: Counselor, SummerShine Counselor, Outdoor Adventure Counselor, and Lifeguard/Counselor. If you are interested in other leadership positions please call for a Senior Staff Application packet.

For Lutherock information call or email Van at (828)684-2361 ext. 303.

For Lutheridge information call or email Kara at (828) 684-2361 ext. 304.

After reading the Summer Applicant Information, please complete the staff application in full. This gives you an opportunity to share more about yourself, including your interests, skills and experience. Note that you are asked to share at which site you have the most interest in being on staff. New for 2011: You will email you application to an address (Van or Kara) based on your site of interest. You can also let us know if you want to be considered for a position at the other site if all positions are filled at the site of your preference.

All new applicants must provide three references (use the reference form listed above). We ask that one of these be from a pastor that knows you relatively well. This can be your home pastor, campus pastor, or the pastor of the church where you are presently worshiping. References are your responsibility and your application is not complete until all references are received.

The application includes the interview schedule and a way for you to indicate your plans for an interview. It is your responsibility to make arrangements for an interview. We encourage you to consider an “in person” interview if possible, but a phone interview can also be arranged if the circumstances warrant it.

Please contact us if you have any questions. Again, thanks for your interest. We hope to see your application soon. We will try to let you know whether we are able to offer you a position or not as quickly as possible, but by early-April 2011 at the latest.

In Christ,
Pastor Tim & Pastor Mary Canniff-Kuhn, Van Van Horne & Kara Ridenhour
