Summer Camp at Lutheridge and Lutherock
Summer 2012

Dear Parents,
We can’t wait to welcome your child to camp this summer. As parents
ourselves, we know sending your child away can cause concerns. We
want you to feel confident that your child will be safe, have fun, enjoy
Christian community, and grow in amazing ways during the week with us!
Both Lutheridge and Lutherock are certified by the American Camp
Association, which means we meet or exceed over 300 standards in health,
safety, and program quality. For more information, visit www.acacamps.org.

The staff we hire are all quality individuals that we would (and do) trust
with our own children. We have recorded a podcast that is available on our
website for you to learn more about our quality staff. Visit www.llmi.net/youth/podcasts.aspx.
At both Lutheridge and Lutherock, your child will be part of a small cabin
or adventure group with a college-age counselor. Christian community,
making friends, and teamwork are stressed. Bible study and devotions are
part of each day. Resident programs at Lutheridge include crafts, swimming,
games, hikes, singing, campfires, and more. At Lutherock, resident campers
will participate in the group interaction course, ropes
courses, loop hike,
rockslide, ice-cream making, singing, campfires, and much more. Activities
for all our programs, including the Outdoor Adventure program are on the
pages that follow. Please click here to see a list of programs available this summer at Lutheridge and Lutherock! Or if you know which program you want click here to see a weekly schedule for Lutheridge and Lutherock.
We want every experience at Lutheridge and Lutherock to be the best it can be for your child. We
promise to do all we can to make that happen. For more information or to answer to questions, visit on our Frequently
Asked Questions page. Or call our office if we can be of help to you in any way. And thank you for
sharing your precious child with us.
God's Peace,
Pastor Mary and Pastor Tim Canniff-Kuhn, Van Van Horne, and Kara Ridenhour
